Languages Alolans and Unovans mainly speak Anglic (the pokemon equivalent of English) and that is what all of the characters in this comic are speaking unless otherwise indicated. Quentin is speaking Nihongo (the main language of Johto and Kanto) in the 5th panel. Putonghua, which Azophi opts to swear in instead of Anglic, is the national language of Zhonghua, a region akin to eastern China.

Ooooh, I like the worldbuilding here! Learning about there being different languages in the different regions makes complete real-world-equivalent sense, but never something I really considered because they don't really bring up such things in the games.

And I spy a region mentioned other than canon. >_> Will this be brought up more later on, or in some other medium? (I love seeing fanmade regions, so it's simply a point of interest with me. ;^^)

(Also the creative pokemon-related swear needs to be addressed- I love it! That is hilarious, and I strongly approve~ XD)

@GrinningWolf24: Zhonghua will come up now and then but not in a major way. We're just aiming to have this world a little more fleshed out. I agree that fan-made regions are super cool. Urobos from Pokemon Sage is probably my fave.
(I'm glad you enjoyed the poke-profanity because there is more where that came from.)
